Subject: Re: MojoRTK & EZ-Steer

A good way to explain how the MoJoRTK works with third party steering controllers is that it talks in CAN language and does not send voltage commands to a steering motor or hyd valve. Tim is correct that Leica has all TC sensors inside the console and uses the EZ Steer T2 module as translator for Can to voltage only and not the data from the TC sensors. The system works great with the pre-T2 comp module EZ Steers.

The reason Tim was sent an upgrade via e-mail to be transferred to the MoJo console was that version was fresh off the press and had not been posted to the "Virtual Wrench Site" just a few days after that all other owners got the same upgrade via "VW". He is also correct that an upgrade is not counted as a service ticket when conecting to "VW" for that purpose. While on that subject, once a service ticket is created for some reason and should the customer have to have multiple sessions to resolve the issue that does not use up your tickets. The service ticket stays open until the problem is resolved and both the customer and Leica product support are in complete agreement that the problem is corrected.
