I think the only option people have sometimes is to relocate to a state that has cheaper land. I could probably afford to buy and farm about 10 acres in Iowa or Illinois if I was lucky! Your land prices are just too high for most people. Lot of guys don't have a million dollars lying around to buy 80 or 100 acres.
