Have not heard that here. It used to be sometimes people would still be trying to moldboard plow in the snow in November. Problem here is that if it gets really sloppy wet or snowy then traction can be a huge problem on the hills. Usually if the tillage is not done by mid November then it has to wait until spring. Now most years people get most of the fall tillage done in October but some years like this year pretty much everyone did some tillage in November to finish up. We had 2" snow on Oct. 26 and some more last week and there were some people out there both moldboard and chisel plowing in it.
