no practical experience with that, but I could imagine that all the unpaid little workers in the soil have a problem if they want to find shelter again in the depth of the soil when turned up.
Imagine having just a thin blanket and snow under your back in a cold winternight...
Don't (moldboard) plow under snow? Anybody else heard this?
