Rent around here is 50 bu. of corn per acre. Tenant has all the expense. A little like share cropping but it does automatically adjust the rent to the price of corn that way.
$160.00/acre is way to cheap unless it is very poor land. I can see why the landlord wants to rent it differently or farm it themselves.
