I do realize that a vehicle got used, but best way to travel is to put together a kitty when leaving to pay ALL expenses, meals, gas, rooms, whiskey, lap dances, speeding tickets, whatever. When it runs out, add more. When done, divide up and everyone leaves happy or the balance goes to the vehicle owner.
