Subject: RE: seed firmer problem?

Bardstown,KY
I used to have a 6 row planter with rebounders on it and never had any trouble did a great job.Traded for 12 row and it had keetons on it ran it with know problem .Well this year at the farm show my dad decided he wanted to go back to the rebounders and ordered a set .I cut them off a put the keetons back on ,everything we planted this year was heavy and they got dirt built up on them and stopped up my seed tubes .I think the keetons do a great job .
His firmers could be rebounders they look like a beaver tail to.You can walk my fields and find where they held back corn in the tube and dumped it out in just a few feet.
