Subject: Re: seed firmer problem?

Long time Keeton user & believer. Getting ready to order a new planter & will definetly have them on it. We plant in several types of soil, from sand to timber soils to heavy black loams & never once have seen them bunch the seed. We usually set the openers to cut a V in the soil & let the Keetons push the seed down to firm dirt. Rather have the seed sitting on firm dirt than loose soil that will dry out around the seed.
