I have a Foodsaver, and it's nice enough. As others have noted, if the food is wet it doesn't work so well.
But really, a ziploc bag, stick a drinking straw in it, zip it tight against the straw, and suck the air out works just fine. Much cheaper and more reliable than a vacuum sealer.
