West Central Wisconsin | Bought a Rival VS100 Seal-A-Meal after Christmas but didn't use it until after deer hunting 10 months later. It wouldn't seal automatically but would manually, sometimes. Took it back but store wouldn't replace so bought another one, a model VS110. That one wouldn't even seal the first end before vacumning. The store replaced that one with one that has worked up until last week when it quit sealing at all. I finished up using the very first one using it in manual sealing mode. Unless they have improved them greatly I think, if you can justify the additional expense, I'd get more of a commercial type. This is what I'm leaning towards to replace the Seal-A-Junks; http://www.cabelas.com/product/Home-Cabin/Food-Processing/Vacuum-Se... Cabelas is excellent about standing behind their products. Joe | |
