U would still agree though that to get true rtk performance he would be better off with an integrated solution. RTK on a ATU seems like overkill.
Actually no I wouldn't agree, on this particular machine I would challenge any system to out perform it. When you consider he already had an existing RTK system, the AF rep offered to fit an integrated system for $13K (without display or anything) the ATU cost $6K and he could utilise his existing displays & receivers. To top it all off there was no uncertainy for him because he had the chance to trial the ATU before he paid anything, you can't offer that with an integrated system. |
