I do not run hereford cows or hereford bulls but I have about 40 bwf cows in my 300 head herd. Will they raise a bigger calf than the blacks? No. Will I have more eye problems with the wf cattle. Yes. It's by no means a serious problem with eyes, but there are so many options out there to breed black cattle black and still get F1 cross heterosis.
