Northeast, NE | I love black white faces, but I don't think you can say they raise more calf than a strait black. Everyone assumes straight black means purebred angus. I could cross over 20 breeds and still get a F1 that is pure black. I could breed a black white face to a black until it is 31/32 angus and still get a black white face. The F1 will out do the blk wf most times am I right. It all depends how long ago that white face showed up on how much heterosis it has in it. Correct me if I am wrong. Like I said I love Bwf and reds, but hide color doesn't mean much anymore. KLo | |
