Subject: Moving Concrete Bin Pad

Manitoba
We have a stretch of bins that are now in the way of a new shop in the works. The concrete they are sitting on is 84' x 14' x 1' thick, double rebar, in 3 separate pads (poured 1989, 1991, 2003). One pad is poured perpendicular to the other two, forming an "L", with the short leg of the "L" being 28' long. The newest pad is in the middle of the 2 older, with 1/2" rebar pounded into the older pad, poured into the middle, new pad. The pads were poured onto leveled dirt (heavy clay), no gravel to the best of my knowledge.

We have talked to a mud-jacking company, and they are quite confidant that they will be able to re-level the pad after it has been moved. The moving part is our main concern. It needs to go approximately 300' straight, but needs to go around an existing pad.

Has anyone attempted something of this sort? We are not sure if our 9380 on triples could move one of the pads if we could cable the pad properly. Thinking of using a trackhoe to position it after the move. We are still pricing remove and replace with new.
