Always cool down your motors no matter what it is after a load. A couple off minutes idling should do just fine. Same with pickups after pulling a load. Idle for two or three minutes to cool things down. Try some Archer oil in that motor off years. Your oil consumption could go down. Doesnt seem to excessive though. Good Luck.
