Subject: Flow delay

If the monitor is mapping the "bump", the deliniation on the resulting map would be quite staggered due to the mapping software flow delay. When grain flow is measured at the flow sensor, it is mapped in a position equivalent to the flow delay setting. Typically this will place the grain flow data point in the location of the combine 10 - 12 seconds prior.

Mapping the bump works the same way, except in this case there is no actual delay from when the bump occurs to when the bump is measured at the flow sensor. But the software will still apply the flow dealy to the mapped bump. In successive opposite passes this could place the mapped location of the respective bumps 150' or more apart (assumes 4.5 mph ground speed).
