East central Iowa | Weaning is the one time of year I hate the sheep. I have most of my lots fenced with 52 inch combonation wire panels. I have put rows of round bales between ewes and lambs so they couldn't hear as well or see them, still is a challenge. I also give no grain and only crappy hay to ewes 2weeks prior to weaning. what age do you wean? I shoot for 8 to 10 weeks.
