| Well, I finally got it off. It wasn't tapered like they said it was in town, but it was a pain none the less. I had put plates under the hub of the wheel before and used pullers on that but never got any results. After hearing about a little puller used on a buhler I checked in with the neighbors since they have one. Sure enough they had wrecked two steering wheels getting them off, so buhler sent out a little puller . I used it and both of my steering wheels popped right off and I barely put any pressure on the puller at all.
