Thanks for posting this Jim, always neat to see what you are doing. that is really good gain, you wouldnt have got any better in the feedlot. Since this is an experiement have you compared the economics on the 2 yr old vs. the one year olds? And just for curiosity have you ever figured the total cost you have into this calf by the time it hits the butcher? I'm not trying to be nosey I just like the simplicity of it and how much beef/acre of corn and grass you are getting. This won't work everywhere but I think there is more places it could work.
