oxytocin to help the uterus contract. I think it is unlikely to need any more oxytocin than is already circulating at that time. A lot more likely to need calcium intravenous drip than oxytocin, but it's cheap, easy and safe so why not!


Oxytocin is a naturaly occuring hormone in the cow, she calved, dropped milk, and then threw her calf bed. Why does she need more of this?
