nw oh | I think you hit the nail on the head. Our holstein contracts I think are for 61%. Also, I think Markwright was somewhat onto something also that yeild is not the same as dressing percentage.
I try not to get into some of the minutiae of these contracts. What were my pay wt? And what was my overall basis? Did these fit into profit scenario when the contract was set? That is what matters. Or in other words did the $per head equal a profit that I was expecting. | |
