rmtv?? don't know what that means but, the 2nd contract you mention is in the beef with a premium / discount open top.
Means you should get ups for choice and prime and ups for yield grade 1's and 2's.
Also means you'll get docked on the yg 4's and most likely the Selects say above 35% in a load.
The packers you mention in your area likely both pay beef premiums thru the Gene Net Alliance ( you can genenet most any breed or cross bred and they are one of the higher pay premium deals out there bare none, generally a $35 to 85 per hd up on decent cattle ).
Most consistent premium is on Natural beef, is generally 18 to 20 cwt in the beef premium over top choice cash live price.
( kind of regional deal on the naturals but they do a LOT of volume now ) | |
