I've got a NH LS170 and can handle pallets up to 2,500 lbs, but I am right at my limit there and wouldn't want to drive with the load very high off the ground. If you aren't trying to get into tight places, a 180 or 190 might suit your needs better. I would never own anything other then a NH skid steer because of the Super Boom and mine will start even at -10 degrees without plugging in. It's inside, but uninsulated building. For sloppy conditions, I have a set of Tracks Plus tracks. Better floation and smoother riding then Grouser's. Cost a little less too. I've got a post hole auger for it, and hydraulics are more then adaquate. I've got a soft cab enclosure that I use in the winter. On a cold day, it sure helps. No heater. |
