| My wife works for the post office. The way the post office would save money by not having Sat. delivery is...saving in gas for the delivery trucks,& one out of every 6 letter carriers will lose their jobs. For every 5 routes there is a carrier that covers their days off. All carriers would work a 5 day work week, so no need for the extra carrier. There would probably be a lot of savings in overtime also. No need to worry about it too soon. IF delivery does stop on Sat. it won't happen until 2013 sometime.
