North of London | Yes we have delivery to the box at the gate but they quit Saturday delivery 20-30 years ago.
BTW I am old enough to remember when delivery to the gate started shortly after WWII.
Before that there was a small post office in a house at a cross roads that people went to pick up their mail.
They closed it and started delivering to the box at the gate.
So how often do you go to pick up mail?
I have said couple days a week would be enough for me, maybe Tuesday and Friday.
Monday and Thursday on another route and lay off half the delivery people and look at the savings in car expenses. | |
