SW MN and Gold Canyon AZ | I still work on the side selling seed, besides the 700 acres of crops and 2000 hd hog barn. When I get older I might drop the hog barn first then the seed business then retire from farming. My goal is to gradually get out of farming and be fully retired by 62 to 64. Depending how I feel after hip surgery the pigs might be gone sooner than i think.
My health will determine when I do what. I don't want to be climbing bins when Im 70. if one of my sons would want to farm that might change things but right now they are doing real good so I don't think they will come back. | |
