NE IL | At what point should a guy feel comfortable farming full time and discontinue other part time jobs? I've been thinking if I could get to 1,000 acres I may consider doing just that. I sharecrop almost all of what I farm and my wife works off farm. Is 1,000 acres enough? It's easy to get lured into a false sense of security with the good years we have had lately. I don't want to let that happen to me. | |
