When I was starting. I would full farm time March 30-Nov 30. Ran over the road Nov 30-March 30. Run as hard as a log book would allow and then some. Could live on on trucking money most of the summer and put most of farm profits back into the farm . This way you can tend to the crops full time and not be distracted by another job.
