Eakly Okla. | Been going to Yucatan of Mexico for last 15 years. Took many tours with tour guides , never rented a car but had all inclusive resorts so no problem finding food. The Rivera Maya is peaceful and quiet. Always stayed at smaller resorts of 300 rooms or less. Get to know more of the workers and more personal. Very relaxing to just kick back in a lounge and people watch. Tried Cancun couple times but to commericalized for us. Cozumel couple times and its slow paced until the cruise ships come into town than its like a fire drill. Use a credit card and you will get the exchange rate for that day. Have always felt safe as long as we were away from Cancun. Never go by ourselves tho. | |
