Also have a daughter that is a PharmD. Don't remember all the concerns, all are pretty strong will, so my input was not a big consideration. Some of the issues that I do recall, were/are, mercury, quality control, live viruses, somewhat alarming side effects rates, and a general un-awareness/un-caring attitude.
Heard today that a school in Middlebury, Indiana is having a big fight over same. School says if kids are not vaccinated, they can not attend, sort of ran into a real legal wall. Think it was over chicken pox, which some parents in Indy are giving kids infected sucker to provide immunity. The flu and shingles vaccines seem to also be a look/hate deal, with mixed results.
