Subject: RE: harvest time. Corn or beans first. Educate me

Macon, IL
When I was growing up it was always beans first, then full season hybrids started performing so much better-and for the last 15 years or so in this area it is usually corn first-then switch to beans. Some of larger farms around here don't grow beans anymore.

This year much of early corn is out-or will be before beans, looks like beans and later corn will be ready about the same time. With this poor stalk quality there may be some hard decisions to be made.
