SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass! | Here, Southeast Neb. most of the corn will be done before the beans are ready. Its always been that way. Some areas it is the other way around. Why? Is it just a different growing season thing or are some of us missing the yield boat by planting too short a season crop or what? Corn is 112-14 day beans are 3.8-4.0. First of april for corn first of may for beans.
