we have several acres of gumbo...we work it lightly with a krause one pass tool and pull a cultipacker directly behind the krause..and the planter runs a close to the krause as possible. When we plant corn.We use either liquid oe ESN urea. No NH3. It's like no-till with just enough loose soil to get a good seed cover..
