Subject: Gumbo bottoms prep for corn?

Have a couple hundred acres in a bottom land field that's mostly composed of black gumbo. Raises great beans especially in a year like this. Can raise beans year after year with no problems unless it's a very wet year. What do you guys do to prep this ground for corn? We just notill beans in June. Chisel it in the fall? Apply n in the fall? Or just be happ with good beans?
