Our worst Gumbo ground we Pattern Tiled two years ago.. That year put it into corn, Was our very best because or earlier planting and good stand, this year is in soybeans and again looks like our best beans because of the same reasons even with this years drought.
So I would have to say the secret would be Drainage !
