We have fields leveled the same way. A taller bed will fix the problem. What's happening is with the shallow middle and the loose soil it isn't wanting to push thru before it runs over. As I said befor the key to row water is a high bed. In south Ar and all the other areas around here this is how it's done. Fwiw
