| You need to rig you up a set of "bullets". We use these rigs to make the water go, basically its a tool bar wide enough to run a shank behind the tire tracks on the tractor, then followed be 12 to 15" pipe filled with concrete pulled behind the shanks to slick the furrow off. While running these rigs we try to run the sweep about 1" deep just throwing out the trash and clods from the furrow. I will try to snap a pick of a rig this evening when i go out to change a set. Also like every one else has said it is important to establish your beds early and keep them as high as possiable through out the year. | |
