Nwmo | Stuff happens, no need to tell him he screwed up. He is going to know it when tax time rolls around. I wouldn't disc it at this point, waste high corn is going to be a mess to disc. I would bush hog it or get someone to run it down with a salford or other one pass type tool that won't disturb the soil but will size the residue, might have to run 2 passes cross ways to each other. At this point you need to keep as much moisture as possible in the ground. Then no till beans into. I have a similar situation except my corn is chest high and was just flooded. It is still standing but its covered with mud, before I do anything I have to talk to the insurance adjuster first but I am assuming it will be crispy by the time he gets here.
