KY | Bluejay, I will tell you what I think I'm going to do in the exact same situation. I'm about 90% sold that I'm going back with corn on it. I've been told by many that it will make it to maturity, just will be bad on yield. At this point, anything I can get is more than I have. I can't stand by and let it just sit untouched. It may be throwing good money after bad, but I think I'm going to try it. Like you say, it already has the corn fertilizer on it, and if your neighbor is like us, I put down enough atrazine pre-emerge to kill a hog and beans simpy aren't going to come up. Just got 3 inches of rain night before last into yesterday, going to be a few days yet, but I'm feeling patriotic, I'm not above running a disk on the fourth of July! | |
