Subject: bad spray day

Northwest Missouri
I have a neighbor who thought he had planted roundup/liberty link corn, had it sprayed with roundup. Now the oh oh. It was just liberty link corn. Waist high corn dying. Crop ins. won't pay, it's not a covered peril. The applicator won't pay, they just sprayed what he told them to spray. My question to you all is this: What would you do? We just had 2 inches of rain, so it will be a few days before it would be dry enough to do anything. Would you replant corn since it has been fertilized for corn, or would you plant beans? And would you no-till or tear it all up? I didn't know what to tell the poor guy. If he doesn't replant something, he has no chance, corn and even soybeans this late, odds are against him. Any advise?
