Lets not be too hard on the guy - things happen to everyone in some way or another. There are alot of things that could happen - some dealers say "triple stack" when HXX or agrisure CB/RW/LL - so mistakes are made. As for planting conv corn - that doesnt work on a day like today when its blowing 35 mph and the neighbor is spraying his RR soys. I'd replant to beans if possible - but dont throw the guy under the bus - I've seen this happen to some very good farmers. Another ? - so if he really thinks thats the best hybrid it could be 15 bu better than anything else - so should he give up 15 bu for a trait? I do agree about spraying all corn conventionally - easy way to eliminate the problem - and according to some studies get a yield increase.
