If theyt are 6 yrs old and You haven't put a repair kit in them, You have gotten by very lucky. I put repair kits in mine every spring and then they work like new. One yr I forgot and then spray season snuck up on Me, and, man I cursed those valves. Then put in the kits-- all went well after that. The rubber washers and diaphrams swell from chem residue. The plungers then get tougher to move. Put the $20 or so into each valve and tell the ball valve supplier to shove his $200 valve.
