We had one too. Inspector was fairly understanding about what we do. Got popped for a few taped up extension cords, and missing belt guards in the seed cleaning plant. He didn't like our 1920's drill press very much but let it pass. He didn't like it when I laughed at him for suggesting that we replace it with a Harbor Freight $50 special! My 81 year old mechanic failed to remember where the MSDS folder was. I griped about that one and I think he let it slide too.

We had a small ($$$) fine and were able to knock about half of it off by correcting the hazard in 2 or 3 days. Not as bad as I always feared I guess. I think the personality of the inspector makes all the difference here.
