This is kind of like the basketball goal thing.....they were notified that the right of way had to be cleared, but they chose to leave the trees there.  If they wanted to move them, they had ample notification to do so.  They chose not to, now they are bitching because "they could give me some time"  Lol...if people didn't do anything to move their stuff the last twenty days, why would they suddenly take care of it if given more time?
