Heil Harvesting, Ulysses KS/Limon CO
Our mailman is good. And he goes the extra mile for us in the summer when we are gone to see that our mail gets taken care of, that our mailing address does not get changed, etc. We generally put him out a pan of rolls at Christmas, he knows that if he can limp it here we will get a tire changed or pull him out of the mud. Shoot we have even loaned him a vehicle to finish out his route. Kind of a pay it forward, if you will. That said, do I think that tipping your mail man should be common practice? No, they are paid a wage to do a job. That is the long and short of it.

Much like the guy at the grocery store who handles your bags. He is paid to do that. I am unsure as to why the food service industry is any different, but I am glad it is. I think more business' should operate this way. Wait staff gets paid based on performance.
