Heil Harvesting, Ulysses KS/Limon CO | I agree. But defining proper as mom and dad are married is, sorry to say, not necessarily proper. Since I have left my 'shelter' I have learned there are a lot of two parent homes that are TERRIBLE.
Now can a single parent be a proper family*? No. But more proper than a lot of mom and dad homes? Yes. Can it be a good home? Yes.
It all comes back to the quality of person or persons doing the parenting.
*I believe that marriage is forever, but as we all know, that is just not the case...
