eaten horse while visiting Russia. I was about 30 miles from Kazakstan. While there I had mare's milk as well. They had large herds of mares for milk production, as well as meat.
If I were you Rich I wouldn't depend on legislation to make you more competative, but make your actual product more competative.
I think Vickey's point is well stated. What if the hippie yuppies decide beef consumption isn't humane? oops, they already do!
Be carefull what you wish for...it is a slippery slope.

I do have a question though. Is this an anti horse meat bill, or an anti horse slaughter bill? Is this to protect horses, or to protect the meat industry?
