On my 750 it is a bar welded on the upper outside edge of the frame, very simple. I think Chad is wanting to mount a weight bracket to the end plate rather than the tube frame. If possible it would be simple to weld a rod to the tube frame and hang your weights there assuming you have room. hope this helps .BH
