Everyone I've talked to has always said their guidance wasn't as good when farming East/West as when going North/South. I certainly experienced that, and that's when the jumps would usually occur.

When working summer-fallow, I set the swath width to be 16" less than the actual tool width. I never experienced skips with this setting, using WAAS. I intend to use the system for planting this spring. I think I'll set the swath width to 6" less than the tool width. A 6" skip with an air-seeder wouldn't be nearly as serious as the same skip on fallow.
