| This corner of Iowa will definitely help bring the avg yield up.
Corn was planted the earliest its ever been planted in this area and we've had near perfect growing conditions other than a cool spell at the beginning of May.
There is going to be 200 bu corn on ground that normally burns up and produces under 100 bu.
There are very few acres that have been flooded out.
200+ bu corn is going to be the norm around this area this year.
Even 8" to 10" of rain the other night didn't do much damage to the crops here. Peoples homes are another story though. | |
